Deep dish Pumpkin pie topped with Meringue


Pumpkin pie is not very famous in France and I remember the first time I tried pumpkin pie {my step sister made it} I could not believe how delicious it was. So here we are five years later I am making my first pumpkin pie ever.

I decided to follow this recipe because the meringue topping makes such a stunning presentation. Also if you are interested in preparing this dish, I would recommend less sugar for the meringue because it was a little too sweet for my taste {and Jeremy's taste too}. Luckily the toasted topping provided a nutty flavor that complemented the pumpkin pie really well. I will give it another try, changing few parts of the recipe and will keep you posted.
