My Dad takes the most amazing photographs, he snapped these of Mathieu and me last week in his backyard and I just love them.
I love Mathieu very much. Going through these photos gave me that astonishing feeling I often get of just thinking how special he really is to me and of the energy and love he brings to a room at just 10 month old.
There are moments when I wonder how I will ever love another baby the same way I love Mathieu. but deep down I know it will happen, just like the way I did not know I had this extreme and infinite capacity to love Mathieu until he was placed in my arms. When I remember contemplating his pink little face for the first time and feeling this new love rush. This feeling is still here and is evolving day by day.
I am deeply thankful for the period with him over the past 10 month and being his mama is the sweetest experience. I really love it and I love him so.

It does evolve, the love you have for your son. He is blessed to have such a great Mom. The way you speak about him, makes me want to call my Mom and just say hello. To tell her how much I miss her.
